A new kind of abstract expressionism is what Maurice Hendriks calls his latest series named: Shifts. "The reason my latest series is named shifts is because of the way acrylic paint forms into its own shape after being in contact with synthetic paint. This uncontrollable change makes the painting shift into its own organic shape. This process will be eventually finished by hand into a dynamic composition."
